Graduate Programs

BYU does not currently offer graduate courses in Women’s Studies. However, there are hundreds of graduate programs in Women’s Studies and related fields in the United States, Canada, Australia, and Europe. For a list of many of these programs you can visit Below are some programs (principally in the west) which focus solely on women or gender studies. The degree listed is the highest one awarded in Women’s Studies by that institution. If you are considering graduate work in women’s or gender studies you might also consider consulting with a member of the Women’s Studies Executive Committee.

If you are currently a BYU graduate student you might consider taking women’s studies courses to supplement your graduate studies. Consult with your program advisor and Dr. Valerie Hegstrom, Women’s Studies Coordinator, if you would like to consider this option.
