Advisement and Writing Centers

The Global Women’s Studies minor is open to all undergraduate students enrolled at Brigham Young University. Students who want to declare a Global Women’s Studies minor should visit the advisement center for their major. If you don't have a major yet, you can declare the GWS minor at the Kennedy Center Advisement Center in 237 HRCB.  To receive advice about the minor, visit the Kennedy Center Advisement and Career Center in 273 HRCB, call 801-422-3548, or e-mail


Writing Center

The following writing centers are available for women's studies students to use when writing and researching papers. They provide tutors who work with students one-on-one in the writing process of prewriting, proofing and finalizing their polished draft. Students may walk-in or schedule an appointment.
